Lots of talking

McGregor has taken full advantage of his microphone time leading up to this fight. He has repeatedly taken shot after shot after shot at Aldo: calling him soft, scared and ill-prepared for Saturday" main event. Meanwhile, Aldo has laid back and allowed McGregor to say whatever he wants.

" guy" working for me," he said. "" basically making me money, so how could I be angry with him? I think he did very good for the weight class so I" happy with that. Nothing" changed. He" still " Joker" to me. He" doing good work. He" bringing me money. But he" still the same to me."

Too much rest?

It" been 14 months since Aldo has stepped into the octagon for a fight. Many fighters who experience that long of a layoff see some drop off in performance in the ring. Meanwhile, McGregor is entering his third fight of the year and appears as fresh as can be.
