How did you guys beat this mission on brutal? I lowered the difficulty just to get past this mission.

Mass phoenix and some blink stalker, zealot ground army. Expand quickly and mass phoenixes...they can attack everything and once you have more than 15 they become really strong. Just watch out for seeker missiles from the terrans.
this was by far the easiest mission so far, didnt have to ever load on brutal, just dominated everything with 5 stargates mass phoenix plus centurion zealotsspear of adun's temporal field ability comes in handy as well, and if you get unlucky with seeker missile hits just reload a savethe story so far is really cool, and the dialogues are way better than in wol or hots, really liking the campaign :ofenix coming back as a robot is a cool idea and gives even more opportonities for pseudo-philosophy talk, i just dont like the model they put him in, looks like robocop on four legs
Just mass upgraded phoenix (take your gas as soon as possible, I"d even recommend 4 gas before second nexus) + the laser ability to wipe canons, turrets and archons, and it"s pretty straightforward in brutal.
Interestingly, as far as I can tell, you can't complete "I Aim To Misbehave" on brutal. Did it via master archives (accidentally left it on brutal instead of hard), and while it was quite difficult, as soon as you take down the bases the mission becomes a cakewalk. Very certain I had destroyed everything on brutal, to the point where I sent a Phoenix around the map to scour fog of war - nothing left. On hard I got the achievement as soon as the last building in the second base fell (though I may have already destroyed everything else on the map at that point).

^ Yup, save before every fight like I did. I had to load over and over and bait out the missiles or they will wipe the HP from all your phoenixes at once.

The probes immediately start to rebuild pylons in the bases as soon as you leave. They come in from other bases or from having run away from a fight and just start building up again in a sneaky fashion. If you go back to the base(s), you'd probably find them dropping pylons trying to rebuild. It is definitely possible on brutal though, but those liturbanbreathnyc.come bastards are sneaky.
This is surprisingly easy with phoenix plus zealots. Thanks for the suggestion! Here's my brutal playthroughI also managed to get the mastery achievement the same way. Actually even better with DTs + solar lance to take out the protoss base on the left first: :DHere's my guide/playthrough for the mastery achievement
