Sephiroth shows up in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix, and getting to him is no easy task, let alone beating him in a fight. Sephiroth was no pushover in Final Fantasy VII, and in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix, he"s not here either. It will take all of Sora"s strength and abilities to take him out, but the rewards are worth it as he holds the powerful One-Winged Angel Keyblade. Sephiroth also has Ansem"s Report 12, which is good to get for anyone who"s a completionist of the game.

The story of Sephiroth and Cloud and Final Fantasy VII will forever be intertwined, and that spills over in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix. Upon reaching Olympus for the first time, players will have to confront Cloud as part of the storyline as he is looking for someone. That someone turns out to be Sephiroth. After battling Cloud, Sora and the team learn that while trying to find Sephiroth, Cloud was recruited as a mercenary to eliminate Sora but chose not to. Cloud wanted to find Sephiroth using darkness but realizes that this is not the right path to travel, ultimately looking for a different way to find Sephiroth.
Finding Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix is relatively simple as he will be a part of the Olympus trials. To face Sephiroth, players will have to run and complete the Phil, Pegasus, Hercules, and Hades Cups. After completing the different Cups, talk with Phil again, and he will have some extra options to choose from that will like this: "???". The first one will run players against the Ice Titan as a Gold Match where players can win the Diamond Dust weapons. The second option will be a Platinum Match, and players face off against Sephiroth.
Fighting against Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix will have a lot to do with preparation as he can hit like a truck. Elixirs will be a must on every item slot, and attempting to beat him before reaching level 65 is asking for trouble. The higher the level Sora can be, the less of a need for Sora to use Elixirs will be at a minimum. Aero and Cure are must-have spells as well. For Sora"s equipment, Ultima Weapon, Omega Arts, Cosmic Arts, and Crystal Crown are the most preferred options for this fight. As for the skills, having Ars Arcanum do a second combo after the first and having counterattack will come in handy with all the damage Sephiroth deals out.

As for the fight itself, players want to be as close as possible to Sephiroth the entire time attacking non-stop. Attacking Sephiroth non-stop will drop his life down and allow for the counterattacks and parries to shine through. Make sure Aero is on at all times and heal when necessary. Keeping close to him will also prevent him from using one of his ultimate attacks called Sin Harvest. Attacking him before he can unleash Sin Harvest will interrupt it and allow for an excellent opening to get some hits in. When he brings in his meteor shower attack, Sephiroth is effectively invincible. Damaging him during the meteor shower won"t help, so focus on staying alive and keeping health up during and after the attack. Keep pounding on him, and he"s as good as defeated.
