The "Bird is the Word" step from complete Metal JacketPosted by Rickety Cricket
Was randomly thinking around how much I reap that whole sequence, particularly the tracking shot that adheres to the cameramen filming the heat of Marines. Also, towards the finish where the dialogue about Custer goes under the line. An odd song choice by Kubrick however it works so cursed well. attach to step

I don't think I've ever also been maybe to complete the movie once they obtain out of basic. For some factor I simply lose interest and don't desire to watch it anymore. Back to be fair, it's been a long time since I watched the movie, so maybe it'd be various now.

You can talk about killing every you want in boot camp, however the real human being is the actual deal. quote: i don't think I've ever even been maybe to complete the movie as soon as they get out that basic. I understand what you mean. The finishing of the bootcamp segment is so insanely intense and claustrophobic that it feeling strange and slow when you acquire to the open-air scene of Vietnam, whereby he's talk to whores. Still, us both should go back and complete the movie. I can't blame not finishing it on being 15 anymore.

quote:People always say the boots camp is the best component of the movie however I disagree. The "in country" part is great to me due to the fact that of way the guys communicate with each other. They room still phone call each other names like youngsters (talking about sisters & mothers). i like just how some good lines are delivered by minor characters. The answer to, "How have the right to you shoot women and children?" involves mind. That gunner is in the one scene and has one of the most awesome morbid lines in the background of movies. it is very realistic in that world do often tend to act prefer that in dire situations. Not just in war yet even in a case where multiple world in a work-related place recognize their tasks are in jeopardy. No one desires to go the end lightly. Hell, I've seen it as soon as pay plans obtained changed. The huge difference is, through them, screwing about can cost a life. The nicknames alone make this movie great, every one of it, not just the first half.
