In fact, you are already doing something right now and you do it everyday that has the
power to radically change your life.
And that’s your breathing.
Imagine a time when you were stressed out and you instinctively took a deep breath in to relax.
And that was just one breath, imagine what 5 minutes of breathing can do?!
It would have a very powerful impact.
So in this video, we are going to guide you through a series of exercises where you will use the
power of your breath along with body movements so you can start to change the way that you think.
Every action first come from a thought whether it is conscious or subconscious.
Think of something that you want in your life right now, a desire it can be small, it can be big.
Something like, I want to go to the gym more and be healthier or I want to be in an loving relationship,
or I want to quite smoking, or I want to start my own business.
So take 5 seconds right now, close your eyes if you want so you can see a clear mental picture of that
thing you want and really make sure that you can see it in your minds eye.
Now that you have that intention, lets begin the exercises.
The first exercise is about opening up to receiving the thing you desire.
Stand feet hip distance apart, with your arms to your side.
REMINDER: each breath is a connected breath and should be done in and
out through the mouth only (no nose breathing).
As you breathe in, your arms go up
As you breath out, your arms come back down
Breathing in and opening your heart center to receiving this thing that you want in your life,
and breathing out.
Connecting to that breath, as you bring the oxygen in and you jaw down.
Open your heart to that thing and imagining it in your mind and opening your heart
and calling it into your body.
Last breath, breathing in arms up, and breathe out.
See if you notice anything different, if you feel looser, calmer, connected to your breath.
Then next exercise is about breaking through,
Stand in a boxer stance.
Left leg in slightly in front of right, legs hip distance apart, arms up fists about eye level.
Start punching out and exhaling.
Bring to mind things that might be getting in the way of having that thing you desire,
and seeing the change you want in your life.
Maybe it’s stories you’ve been telling yourself.
I’m lazy, I just don’t have the time, I don’t have the money.
Whatever it is, really see yourself punching that thing out of your way and start to bring
more energy into your punches. Have fun with this.
Punch punch!
Alternate and speed up.
Use your breath every time you punch out.
Pick up your pace and energize your body with breath with this powerful movement.
Begin to slow down and stop.
Let out a deep exhale.
Close your eyes and notice any changes in your body, maybe you created heat or warmth in your arms and chest.
Take deep long breath and sense any changes in your body.
Final exercise you will stretch up and receive and have that thing you desire.
Start with legs hip distance apart and your arms to your side.
Breathe in through your mouth and reach one arm up and grab that desire and bring it into your heart.
Breathe in and reach the other arm up and grab that thing you want to be or have and bring it into your heart.
Your arms are an extension of your hearts desire so with each reach you are really just extending yourself
out to grab what’s within your reach already. You do deserve it.
Reaching up and coming back down.
Last inhale up, really reach and feel the stretch and pulling it into your heart.
Hold you had at your heart center.
Sense any shift, or what it feels like to really bring this thing that you want, this desire into your heart, to have it.
